Seriously, I’m still annoyed that you have to pay just to edit and save your template. I’m no css expert but I like the flexibilitiy to be able to add/edit even just the html/simple css.
Also, most of the templates in the gallery bore me to tears. Blogdrive and Blogger allows us to edit the html for the template and save the changes for free!

So goodbye, WordPress. Till we meet again…

PS. One more thing, WORDPRESS. BLOGGER ALLOWS DIRECT EMBEDDING OF THE VIDEO SO IT shows up as customised media player (with your own colors etc.). NOT THIS FOR DUMMIES SHIT WHERE YOU HAVE TO INSER THE URL and makes that for you. Woah, how restrictive can you get?

Oh well…Don’t give up

After several months, I’m back again.

School has been driving me crazy.

I made it past my classes in the first semester. Hurray!

But this has gotta  be the looooooongest semester ever. I hate my Tax class. Never have I met a teacher who explains things way too fast and a textbook   (hmm… reminds me of the prof himself) has more text than examples! I think the median grade for this class must be about 80 or 85, seriously.

Taxation isn’t supposed to be this hard even my mom said so. And she attended a tax course last year hoping to get a side job as tax preparer. But I suppose it’s a part of leadership ego. He’s good and experienced but he doesn’t have to flaunt by saying that this course was gonna be tough ( though he kinda took it back as a consolation by saying that some students have blown ) and make it tough by racing to finish chapters then prattle on and on every class. Sure, he does asks now and  if we have questions but what’s good about an answer that you can barely comprehend?

Dreading the bell

I had a clean sheet of paper until i started writing.
Writing on my mind that is not a clean sheet of paper.

If you haven’t seen me around here since well, forever, I’ve been cramming. Cramming to get in a just a little more time for fun and relaxation before school starts…again. Next week. Geez, that’s just four more days on my calendar. How time really flies when you’re having fun.

And please, shut your trap if you’re still on spring break/summer vacation. Yes, I know some of us are less than fortunate.

I can’t believe I’m stocking up on school supplies again.I’ve got papers, pens, a notebook and organizer strewn on and under my computer desk right now. And I still need a new school bag.
Speaking of notebook and papers, what’s this about moleskine notebooks? They don’t look very interesting to me. It does sound quite expensive and looks very formal. Synonymous with Boring. It must be the paper type that you people like, huh?

Update: I think I must have spent over $20 on school supplies alone this quarter. That doesn’t yet count the books and other stuff I got from school which is going to cost me eventually.

I’m finally getting settled again but at the same time, school is killing me.

I’m supposed to be finishing a draft for biography of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Brain’s still fried, though.

By the way, remind me to get a certain someone recyclables in future instead of any more perishables or edibles. Package delivery, of course.

Spring is the air

Spring is the air. Spring is everywhere! It’s not so freezing cold anymore. Yippee!
I can hardly wait for our flowers and other plants to bloom.
The image above was made in my Paintshop Pro XI. I promised a friend I’d show her a sample of my polaroid work. There you go dear. It was done using a layer mask and a brush. I added the vine thingy at the bottom for effect. Looks like I shouldn’t have resized the brush.

Anyway, I purposely cut it off like that. I’m used to making icons and other graphic stuff. I’m sure you could do this in Photoshop without a brush/mask, though. Make a 300×300 white canvas, resized your picture and position in the center. Voila!

I just signed up for FIQL. It’s just another online music sharing community like imeem. Unlike imeem, which I tried, I’m happy that this one is less restricted. You can make your own playlists, of course but it also adds automatically a video playlist of all the tracks in your playlist. The videos are mostly from Youtube.

So I tried your idea of top ten tracks. Well, here they are. My current top ten playlist for this week.

Take a trip

Thankfully, I have not been dead to the world. I have been away from blogging recently due to so many other, um, priorities.
On top of that, I’ve been slightly un-well last month. First, there was that nasty trip. I was hobbling around for two days. My right knee hurt terribly when I walked. But I didn’t use crutches since I didn’t break something. I could bend and use it normally when was I sitting but it was painful to walk on.

Then it was the time of the month again.

But I made it. Thank you Lord.

The good news is, I’ll be back in school. On campus. After like, five years or so? This college I’m going to is slightly bigger than my previous school. I’m enrolled but my transcript is still getting evaluated. I hope I get class credits. Not that I’m eager to graduate early. But I want to be able to add other classes. Hehe. I’m such a nerd.

My taxes are done. And I’m getting a refund. What? I’m just a poor working student, you know.
